This book is an introduction to the standard German language structure, which is rich in details and based on the modern language theory also is aimed mainly at second- and final-year undergraduates of German, and also at postgraduates in the broad area of German studies.There is no need for any prior knowledge of linguistics as all linguistic terms are clearly defined on their first usage, given in the text in bold
